Boom Barriers enable access roads to be opened and closed quickly and easily. Passage can be regulated efficiently and access control can be carried out individually for each vehicle. Our product portfolio includes electromechanically, electrohydraulically as well as manually operated barriers. Colour schemes, dimensions and the design of the construction also vary depending on intended application. Select your model for each individual access point, varying risk scenarios and the specific surroundings.
PPG’s crash test certified BLS barriers provides a high level of protection against unauthorised entry and exit. Attempts to break through these barriers at high speed will completely destroy even the chassis of a heavy vehicle. In addition, these systems are suitable for installation in areas with underground conduits due to their low installation depths. Drivers of approaching vehicles are directly prompted to stop by the optionally available warning paint or warning stripes on the crash beam. When the crash beam is lowered, a vehicle in accordance with bridge class SLW 60 can pass without restriction. Among other applications, the barrier lift system is very well suited for securing military installations.
